Very light in color for an XA. Ripe red fruit and berries, light citrus, and barrel spices: cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon. An earthy/mineral sharpness. Vanilla, caramel roundness with no significant oak interference to mask the agave. Flavors: Caramel, poppin’ pepper, and creamy vanilla sweetness. Some latent nutty notes, and a touch of anise. It is not super complex, but it has the attention of my taste buds. Just the slightest hint of bitterness on the finish.

Lacquer and nail polish nose lead to a bitter, oaked taste and finish. No bueno.

Aroma: Agave, oak, & caramel Taste: nice blend of agave, oak, spices, & caramel Finish: left more to desired with quick finish. Overall: nice budget XA for $58. Will revisit and see if it opens up more. I tried again, to sweet, will you the rest I. Cocktails.
