NOM 1488 | Possibly the most gold medal stickered bottle I own. Bottle is from 2008 and is still in great shape taste and flavor wise. Nose is oak and agave while in the mouth and the flavor is a great progression from the blanco and reposado. There is no subtraction from the aging of the base blanco. Nice long finish fading to some oak spice and natural sweetness.

Back of mouth. Fruity, pretty smooth.

NOM 1068 | Nice basic Tequila.Light barrel notes for Anejo.Agave, oak, baking spice, fruit, vanilla and caramel. Not super complex but easy drinking.Prefer nom 1068 or nom 1107.

Review #246 - El Conquistador Tequila Anejo

The ending to a very nice line of tequilas, but perhaps the least memorable. That's not to say that it's not good...but there was just nothing that stuck out immensely to make this a must buy.
