Sugary notes are present: honey, maple syrup & molasses. Sugar overpowers the aging process.

Finished in ex bourbon barrel makes it different to other Añejo- barrel flavour very pronounced but enjoyable. Loved by locals near the distillery and other tequila focused Mexicans.

My favorite by far. If you were looking for that tequila, bite or astringency, this will not be your cup of tea. But if you like, very smooth rich flavors butterscotch , chocolate, and vanilla will become a favorite for you as well. Almost like dessert and a glass. If you can find a 38 proof, that is the real ticket but the 40 is great as well.
