Chemical smell that mimics the aroma of a barrel, and an alcoholic taste. If it as "this sort of thing," it about 40 points, but if it as "tequila", this is the score it gets. It's also expensive for mixto. If want to drink "tequila", it would be much better to spend a little more and buy a 100% de agave product.

Esto es lo que yo catalogaría como un tequila del día a día, algo para rematar la comida o un traguito espontáneo entre cervezas. Para mix con tequila sunrise u otro Cocktail es una buena opción.

This is a good choice for a terrible night. This is the kind of drunk that will make you hate tequila. Of the terrible tequilas, this is a better one. Don’t let that fool you though, this tequila is nasty.

NOM-1104-I. 1 litro 38 ° G.L. No bar code on any of the labels. Flat glass bottle with a brown gray plastic twist cap. Fab. La Rojeña. Reg. Fed. Cau. TCU 370608. Reg. S.S.A. No. 62 "B" Color: light yellow. Nose: fresh sweet cooked agave! Hay, tallow notes that disappear 10 minutes in the glass, green apples, fresh cut grass, a slight metallic note, after 20 minutes in the glass a briny aroma emerges. Palate: starts briny, herbaceous, light sweet cooked agave, thick mouthfeel, menthol makes the intense cooked agave fresh and not cloying. Although it’s a reposado, almost no wood notes can’t be perceived. Finish is medium to long, solid cooked agave and briny notes prolong the finish.

Ya know sometimes, you’re most loyal, overall favorite thing can still be considered a piece of crap. I will joyously admit that my pride in shamelessly enjoying a J. Cuervo Gold Is nothing but embarrassment. After a long tough day, nothing can come close to reminding me about how much closer to a painful death I am than when that first out-of-the-bottle shot hits my lips. Why even bother smell it? I know exactly how it smells because I left wet quinoa out for 6 months and this probably smells similar to that. I will always have a special place in my heart for this monster. Call me Dr. Frankenstein.

Please dont drink this crap. For the same price you can buy Jimador or Centenario. which are real tequilas.
