NOM 1610 | New profile ALERT!! The brand has changed their profile so what you want to look for in batch numbers are blanco 1015 and up repo 1022 and up and añejo 1016 and up. Worth a try and you can get the set of all three expressions for under 100 bucks.
Sweet upfront but sweetness dissipates quickly into woody notes, followed by soft but firm tannins. A few drops of water cuts the sweetness & tannins.
NOM 1610 | New nom is a jump from the original recipe. More agave forward profile. Good anejo for price point.
This Anejo for the price is absolutely an incredible deal and very affordable and it’s a great additive free Anejo that has natural vanilla flavoring from the new American oak barrels
Aroma- very vanilla and cinnamon, quite different than the blanco, no agave Taste- To me this tastes like it has additives, especially vanilla, the agave is completely hidden Finish- Not natural vanilla Overall- Disappointing compared to the blanco, perhaps they are different noms, we did not record the nom before tasting.
hints of butterscotch, caramel, agave. strong vanilla aroma.
Excessive sweetness that gives off artificial vanilla scent
Way too much vanilla, it overpowers the agave.
Taste like there has been flavors added. If you like sweet and vanilla you’ll enjoy this. Missing agave flavor
Ver strong, sweet flavor - vanilla/caramel
Great tequila for a great price. Has a lot of flavor but pretty sweet. I taste chocolate, caramel, vanilla, butter, oak and cream. This is a great desert tequila.
Immediately hit with butterscotch and vanilla. Oh no. Could be an indicator of additives. The taste and finish become very, very vanilla and butterscotch and sweet. There is an oily mouthfeel which lingers. I’m disappointed. This odd flavor does not seem like tequila. I would only recommend to people who don’t appreciate the true complexity that a properly created tequila can offer. This is like drinking vanilla extract straight from the bottle.
vanilla and caramel slight peppery smell. very very smooth
Slightly smoky with hints of vanilla and butterscotch.
Impressive above expectations. very humble presentation. The aroma is well balance. the taste is sweet but bold. very full body. enjoy
Nose - love the nose. Flavor is pretty good but can tell there is additives. Finish was my least favorite, metallic taste. I would recommend as it’s cheaper than most anejos but i would not buy again as I sip anejos and would not use this in a margarita. Good for someone new to tequila and venturing into anejos.
Let’s start with the price! I payed 28$ for this, I wasn’t expecting much from it, but I was completely surprised. From the start just popping the cork the aroma was both caramel and vanilla. I liked it right from the start. It’s smooth and very flavorful. I will buy this again. As a test I asked my wife to try it, she’s a rum drinker not so much a tequila drinker. End result she said it was like a light tequila, I thought this was a good answer.
I wanted to like this, but I just didn't care for it. I got lots of butterscotch all the way through this. I got a hit of pepper on the palate. the finish is sweet and artificial. I got little to no agave anywhere in this. Frankly, I'm glad I just had a sample to try instead of a bottle I paid for.
When I first smelled it I noticed a deep sweet smell that I couldn't identify and then after the First Sip it hit me Chocolate !!!! Very smooth Chocolate taste with a hint or Caramel. Very different but good. Very little pepper on the back end. I think you'll like it.
Sampled batch 2 at a tasting with owner Pablo. Tequila with a cause and charitable ways. I wish I could state I loved it, but It was just poor to fair. The nose is brach butterscotch with sugar cubes and cinnamon . The palate was lagging and average with a light oak and some roasted nuts. Finish leaves you wanting an after dinner mint.
Way, way, way too sweet. I really was looking forward to this because of their cause, but to me it is an additive bomb. Butterscotch, sweet, and no agave.
Caramel sweet smell, caramel and vanilla notes. No trace of agave.
Incredible! A must try Añejo!

On the aroma, a lot of cinnamon, vanilla, and caramel, to the point that it all but overwhelms any other smells. The flavor seems overly sweet, with a stronger hit of vanilla and a whole cinnamon stick, which extends itself into a candy apple level of sweetness. Skip this one.
