Nose wow! Agave & pepper! Insane nose, depth of flavor, old school agave notes, beautiful juice! Never going to see this again
Nose: Bomb of cooked agave, oak, butter, caramel, cinnamon, baking spices On the pallet: A blend of sweetness balanced beautifully with those barrel notes. This has the taste of old school tequila with all the barrel influences that you want from a well aged tequila. Sergio Cruz knocked it out of the park with this special anniversary bottle. If you can find it, get your hands on it. It’s wonderful
Found a bottle in a NYC restaurant, bought it by the oz and definitely worth it.
Again giving the CRT an FU plus a middle finger and calling this a Reposado though no Reposado is part of the blend. Crazy
Hidden gem! Totally different profile than the 15yr anniversary expression. Great sipper, wish I had a bottle!
Better finish than the XA but still very nice. The nose has way more oak and the agave is harder to find. Still an amazing sipper.

Pretty amazing repo. Extremely well balanced. Value score for the $70ish it went for when it came out, not the insane price I paid for a pour of it now.

I so appreciate the mastery & care that goes into a spirit as special as this! One of my favorites from 1414. Cherry, cinnamon, barrel spice & cooked agave with a sweet heat finish that lingers…
I get a slight bourbon barrel and caramel, cooked agave scent. The flavor cherry, spices, cinnamon, black pepper and vanilla. The finish is long and lingers and it keeps going.
