This profile unfortunately had a lot defects. Comes from a distillery where I like 3 brands…

Tried Don Londrès after hearing about it from a friend and was honestly surprised. The first thing that stood out was how clean it tastes no harsh burn, no weird sweetness, and nothing artificial on the nose. You can tell it’s made with care. On the nose, I picked up cooked agave, light vanilla, and a subtle pepper note. The palate is smooth and balanced, with agave still front and center, followed by a bit of oak and gentle spice. The finish is longer than expected and very smooth, which makes it easy to sip neat. What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t taste manipulated or overly polished. It drinks like a traditional tequila but still feels refined. Great neat or on ice, and it holds up well in a simple margarita without getting lost. Overall, this is a well made tequila that clearly respects the process. I’d happily keep this on my shelf and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a smooth, honest tequila. Francisco Gonzalez’s family is legendary, they created 1942 and Don Julio. Great bang for your buck.
