Nose has a nice balance of savory and sweetness. Leather, oak, date, molasses, roasted nuts, semi sweet chocolate, honey grahams, agave and vanilla. Taste is almost identical to the nose. Add notes of cherry, tobacco, berries, nuymwg and a more intense pepperiness. Mouthfeel is very light. Finish is one the shorter side with nice notes of molasses, rye bread and a hint of vanilla.

Very heavy barrel influence, I think a lot of the agave is lost. But good barrel notes none the less - oak, Carmel, vanilla, spices.

This will easily be a mass pleasing tasty bottle for the general public. No bite, "smooth" sweet and easy drinking. With that said, I get a hit of what seems like an artificial vanilla sweetness in the mid palate that instantly makes me think additives have been used here.
