The aromas is like smelling a bouquet of agave flowers in oak barrels. Very enjoyable with a beautiful mix of agave, chocolate, butterscotch, and mint. Felipe knows how to age to perfection. This XA is outstanding. Complex, balanced, flavorful with still a good amount of agave. The barrel influence is prominent including notes of the barrel char which I’m enjoy. Not an every day sipper but in the winter this is a top contender.
