Nose: It opens with a blend of cooked agave, soft vanilla, ripe banana, and a gentle veil of smoke. There’s a creamy-sweet undertone balanced by a slight char, giving the nose approachability. Palate & Mouthfeel: Floral notes lead the way on the palate, quickly joined by cooked agave and a refreshing splash of honeydew melon. There’s a noticeable saline quality and a touch of heat, but it’s impressively smooth for a high proof. Warm, creamy spice rounds it out, lending a buttery, mouth-coating feel that remains between sips. Finish: The finish brings a satisfying wave of pepper, not overwhelming but vibrant. The warmth carries through, backed by lingering spice and just a trace of fruit from the palate. Final Thoughts: The palate on this stands out as unique among other high proofs with its smooth delivery, floral-agave core, and creamy spice. It’s a unique profile that hits a lot of the right notes for a sipper. That said, its shelf price, locally running $70 to $90 - feels a bit ambitious. If it sat closer to $60, it would be a no-brainer. While I personally enjoy this more than its blanco counterpart, the lower price of the blanco ultimately gives it the edge in overall value.

The aroma is wonderful! And that ends the good stuff for me. The taste is a little off almost like it’s under ripe agave. The finish goes bitter. Not my style.

Might need to let this one sit and open up a bit. Must vegetal earthy flavors. A solid high proof.

Nice Citrus, lemon zest, slight earthy feels with pepper.

Some heat on this one, opens up with citrus, herbal, mint, notes of pepper and spice with some light vegetal notes. A good punch to your agave cocktails.

Different aroma, kinda like a dusty room to start, followed by some rich butter and bit of citrus. First sip might be hot at 54%, but after acclimating it mellows. It’s a bit dry and slightly bitter, with some herbal/vegetal notes and loads of pepper.

A nice HP at a great price point. 55.99. The nose is soft but nice. Agave, citrus, minerals, pepper, a slight spice note, and very mild vegetal Also soft as far as the taste. Agave, lime, minerals, pepper, and nice warm finish.

Tasted in a Chisholm Trail HP glass. At 108 proof, not a lot of alcohol on the nose. Nice agave a citrus. Lime is forward. Light minerality and earthiness. On the palate, sweet agave and mint. Buttery. Slightly floral. Really well balanced. This is an easy drinker and the ABV supercharges the standard Lalo blanco. I thought this would be good and it is. Finish is nice with a good mouthfeel. Agave and minty aftertaste.

Nice nose, maloactic, creamy, agave is there, all in all nice balanced high proof, good value, easy sipper. Not elite tier but priced fairly.

Musty agave nose. Palate has a lot of heat to it which is nice with a tinge of sweetness

Classic Lalo. Clean, crisp, and pure. The higher proof really lets the agave shine. The nose isn’t as hot as you would think. The palate is viscous and refreshing. The finish lends to citrus, floral, and a bit peppery.

This is an excellent high proof for an excellent price point. The taste is very agave forward. It is very smooth for being high proof, if you've tried the regular Lalo Blanco this one is similar in taste just a more stronger taste. A nice finish as well. One of my favorite sippers! I can highly recommend it.

Punched up Version of the 80 Proof Vegetal, Citrus, Black Pepper Agave Bomb.

This tequila is the regular Blanco on steroids nothing but sweet cooked agave, citrus followed by black pepper sit back and enjoy the ride

aroma: big citrus and cooked agave, herby, almost leathery, oddly getting a funk (giving me barn vibes) taste: soft, sweet - like an agave syrup, peppery finish but not overwhelming, has a hot finish texture: oily, viscous

This is good stuff, but I prefer their OG blanco more

i heard about lalo , this brands produce only BLANCO ….

Nose : Agave , floral , citrusy sweetness … Taste : Strong initial sweetness and terroir that goes into a really natural agave flavor peppery and then into a tongue numbing and tingling minerality and ends with a slight vanilla and floral aftertaste .

Delicious! Strong agave taste with a hint of citrus. Will stock up on this kicker.

Agave and butterscotch on the nose. The higher proof hits when in a Glencarin. Oily, thick mouthfeel. The butterscotch comes through on the palate. Long, lingering finish, agave just sticks around. Overall, delightful.
