This 94 proof plata has a clean nose with aromas of buttery / creamy cooked agave, citrus zest, minerals, faint honeysuckle and a hint of white pepper. On the palate I taste cooked agave, orange zest, white pepper and some minerals with a touch of salinity. The alcohol is present but it’s clean and it helps to deliver a pleasant combination of flavors. Overall this is a good clean high proof plata that has some nice intensity without being overwhelming or too strong. It’s also very affordable for a higher proof spirit. This could be an introductory high proof sipper or it could elevate your tequila cocktails. Either way I recommend you try it for yourself.

Nice nose. Nice cooked agave, floral, citrus, white pepper, and some minerals. Taste nice cooked agave nice citrus the mineralreality is nice not quite earthy. The Agave is amped up a little bit more than the standard Blanco but it does not drink like a high proof. While not overly complex, it has a great flavor . Finish isn’t crazy long but it does have a nice pepper to it.

El Bandido Yankee Plata 47 is my newest high proof pickup. This 94 proof blanco gave aromas of agave and buttery notes on the first crack of the bottle. As the glass sat the buttery notes faded with citrus coming in. Nice nose. Flavors follow with agave, citrus, white pepper, and some minerals. It’s not too hot in the mouth but does have a pleasant finish appropriate for its higher proof. While not overly complex, this is a pleasant and approachable sipper I’ll happily keep drinking. I’d imagine this will be a banger for cocktails, which I’d consider for the very reasonable price point (around $50 by me).

Best thing I’ve tried from this brand. How high proof should be made / taste. Sweet cooked agave bomb with a spice finish.

Lote T/B 050325/TV Nose: wonderful citrus and cooked agave balance, pepper, black licorice Mouth: silky, pepper heat, lingers just long enough to satisfy, nice sharp agave, with a slight funk. I think the 94 proof is a good amount to still keep the balance nice between a standard 80 and an over 100 proof. Really sips well. Totally lets you know it’s higher abv The minerality sits right in the middle of all the flavor from the heat to the sweet. Very nice.

Agave all day on the nose. Citrus, minerality and a hint of honey on the taste. Does not drink like a high proof

Aromas de agave, cítrico y dulce y en el paladar se siente el agave , un poco picoso pero al bajar se queda ese aftertaste de vainilla en la garganta

Right off the bat I get hit with tons of buttery sweet agave, fresh citrus, white pepper, and a touch of minerality. On the palate I get that really nice agave sweetness, paired with some lime and orange peel, subtle minerality, black pepper, and some nice herbal notes to finish it out.

Very agave forward. The agave blasts your nose as you open the bottle. Sweet cooked agave flavor with hints of black pepper and citrus sweetness. Finish is short and hot. My personal favorite from the brand. Nice value at around ~ $55 for a high proof
