Just a sample. Enjoyed it like all G4, but I actually prefer the regular blanco. I like the Classico Reposado a touch more as well.
Did a video review of this. Will review properly at home Here is the home review This bottle is made from 90 percent of the G4 Blanco and adds 10 percent fibers. It is a 40ABV offering and there should be plenty around with over 2000 cases produced. However, don't snooze if you are considering this as the nostalgic look alone is doing wonders for the sales. This has a G4 nose. I went to compare it with the standard G4 Blanco and to me chagrin, I was completely out. Plenty of 108s and Maderas but nada on the standard Blanco. This nose is floral and earthy. I get mint and vegetal and citrus notes. On the Palate, sweet cooked agave. Minerality, earth and pepper. Hints of Jalapeno and citrus. I get mint and olive. This is a nice tequila that I can recommend with confidence. I purchased this bottle from High Spirits (Jongmin Kim). It is interesting that my TMM on this one is a point lower than the regular G4. I really wish I had a bottle to compare it to. I am sure I can rectify that next trip to High Spirits.
lot of vegetal and minerality on the nose. Palate is tasty
G4 blanco clásico Sample from Ned Olsen Nose: herbal jalepeno vegetal pepper citrus and a little mint. As it opens, a little cinnamon and yeast/hay opens up Palate: agave minerality pepper some yeast/hay and a fizzy mouthfeel on the finish Empty glass: the sweetness of the agave comes through really nicely
Nice agave, vegetal , little minerality, some mint and black pepper on the pallet Nice sweetness from the agave right up front. Very nice and easy sipper. Not as mineral forward as the original g4
Thanks for the taste Reza! Tasted side-by-side with G4 Madera. I like the Clasico a bit more. Easy and Round mouthfeel with lots of roasted agave and hay-rustic taste. The finish has some light vegetal that is common for my taste of G4. Not as minty-jalapeño as regular G4. Still very good!
Aroma - very sweet roasted agave and citrus. A bit briny and some minerality shines if you dig deep. Taste - sweet agave shines through as the star, there’s a little bit of pepper and some lemon zest. Super sweet flavor overpowers from regular G4. Finish- fades quickly but the sweet flavors fade to vegetal and mineraly. Finally finishing to an earthy wet soil. This is a quality top tier tequila. Where it falls short is the value. I prefer regular G4 for $30 less.
09/25/25: G4 to O4! Salud! Aroma: wet concrete some grass; sweet baked agave. Close your eyes and you can smell the distillery! Taste: this is an explosion of flavors - some green agave baked too; some heat but not much - licorice maybe some mint Finish: very subtle finish - flavors linger but minimal burn.
I have not read anyone else’s reviews and have seen a few social media reviews on this. Other then hearing it’s a great product (which I’ve come to expect from G4) I put all that aside and this is my review: Nose: right off the bat I get a cooked agave with a forward grapefruitiness with a nice brine minerality odor , slight sharpness like a Vermont extra sharp cheese , some pepper, lemon. Nice clean nose Taste: anise, cooked agave, forward. Some nice heat , at 80 proof it comes off like it’s a higher proof. Nice lemon zest , the well water comes up nicely after the heat sits down, finish is subtle. Initial feeling is “this is gonna burn” but it doesn’t. The heat up front dissipates fast. Leaving a very nice clean taste with a minty tone. This was the first pour so I am very interested to see how the bottle settles in now that air has hit it and it’s been poured. Very nice well done G4
Aroma: (22) agave, black pepper, vegetal, Taste: (27) Sweet agave, black pepper, minerals. Finish: (22) agave & minerals Overall: (85) $99 from Driftwood spirits value (4) I prefer the Madera blanco & regular blanco over the retro Classico.
Nice sweet smell of agave, pepper and minerals. Rich agave forward taste and some earth and citrus. This is a bit different than the original. Was able to pick up in IL for 51.99.
Lote LG0001BCE 14/06/2025 Aroma: bright sweet agave aromas and slight wet stone Flavor: intense fruity agave sweetness some minerality, a hint of green pepper Mouthfeel: full bodied with only light alcohol burn in the back of my throat Finish: nice, long, rich fruity and sweet Color: clear
espectacular, se nota la fermentacion con fibras olerlo y tomarlo es como oler y comer.agave cocido, espectaculae tequila.con gran cuerpo
L?000BCE, bottled on 14/06/2025, tasted on 8-16-25. Aroma: cooked agave, light acidity, hint of citrus, light green vegetal notes, earthiness, hint of herbaceousness, light mineral, it has an effervescent sensation that disappears after 30 minutes in the glass and it becomes rounder. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, cooked agave and earthy notes are quite intense, thick and oily mouthfeel, hint of minty sensation. Finish is medium to medium long, cooked agave with light green vegetal notes, hint of citrus with light mineral notes persist. Spicy but lacks sweetness.
great

This one is outstanding. Tons and tons of sweet cooked agave. Makes sense with the 10% fermentation with fibers. Amazing flavor of more cooked agave, a hint of black pepper and some brine. Great heavy body. A fairly short finish but really tasty. It’s incredibly easy to drink. I would definitely recommend picking this up if you are a G4/Pandillo fan!
