Emblema Blanco is an approachable tequila showing moderate cooked agave, bright citrus, and gentle black pepper. The palate leans slightly sweet with a green vegetal note and a clean finish. A subtle hint of mint or eucalyptus emerges on the back end, adding lift. Not an agave bomb, but well-made and versatile. At $100 for a Blanco it’s a little pricey. The packaging was amazing really cool box with a lot of information and I recently learned they do a lot for Charity so I look forward to learning more about that!

Aroma: cooked agave, herbs and mint, finishing with a strong bitter citrus note (maybe like a bitter grapefruit?) Taste: cooked and green agave, herbs, nutty, mint, and a little bit of a citrus/pepper note mid to finish Finish: pepper, floral, and vanilla notes The price tag ($100) is pretty steep, but it helps to know that 15% of each bottle goes to supporting the reopening of Museo Nacional de las Artes Gráficas (Graphic Arts National Museum).
