A long story goes with this but the short version is this is pre Suerte offering from NOM 1530. This may be the source of the original añejo offering.
Boozy smell with some caramel notes. Taste of caramel, butterscotch, wood, hint of green apple. Aftertaste is a bit hot. More bourbon than agave flavor. Hardly any agave at all.
Nice tan color. Cinnamon booze smell with some cooked agave. Thinner mouthfeel (it is a 38%abv) with some nice cinnamon and cooked agave notes into a spicy cinnamon heat finish with lingering agave. Some nice cinnamon notes.
