Probably need to try this again, but had it in a blind and wasn’t a fan at all.

Aroma: 21 Bright lush white pepper jumps out of the bottle and glass. Very green, light and bright. Wet grass, olive, celery and basil. Lemon citrus with mild orange peel. Nice nose Palate: 24 Starts off a little constricted. Light mouth feel and texture. Mild agave, very clean and fresh. Has a youthful taste. The green from the aroma does not translate to the palate very much. As it continues to open up, the rich agave starts to shine through. Finish: 21 Fairly hefty finish. Good duration, feel, with a pleasant warming heat. Value: 8 $20 bottle in San Francisco (normally $30)

This is a controversial tequila that caused quite a buzz because of the ratings it got on a TMM blind. The big problem with the general tequila community is that it is diffuser juice Well partially. They do use a Tahona and also ferment with and without fibers. It has a nice nose with cooked agave and citrus, specifically lime. It actually has a bouquet of various Italian spices. On the palate, it is nice and sweet with pepper. Again, citrus comes through. A bit fruity. A touch of alcohol on the finish. Yes, I would recommend this and would absolutely drink it again.

Bottle: L-DO-BCO-001, 121923 09:16 Appearance: Clear Nose: Cooked agave, fruity, banana, maraschino cherry, green apple, brown sugar, butter, black pepper, cinnamon, minerality, limestone, anise, rosemary, and grass…definitely opened up with a little time Palate: Cooked agave, cinnamon, brown sugar, butter, lactic, vegetal, basil, lemon, cedar, green apple, and grass…very sweet Finish: Alcohol, brown sugar sweetness, butter, and cinnamon…short and fleeting with a thin mouthfeel Overall: The nose really improved after the neck pour, but, sadly, the finish did not. Instead of feeling like there was a cohesive profile, I felt like this was a “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” kind of alternation between ‘really good’ and ‘meh’ throughout. For the price, this would make an okay mixer. But, for the same price, I’m grabbing something else every time. Time to move ‘Onda’ something else.

Not bad for the price, it’s a good mixer alternative
