Of the two barrel offerings , the American barrel vs the French barrel release, I preferred the French. The American barrel had a lot of barrel notes that muted the agave. This was Sweet, and a little astringent for me. Salud
Very well done XA along with a nice proof to it. Innovative craft bottle design, needs minor adjustments, but I know this is a difficult design. Price impacts the score a bit, but it’s a well done profile Tasted at the Los Angeles Tequila Club holiday party.
I’ll let this one open up a little bit before trying it. I like the nose but there is a lot of barrel. A lot of barrel notes very oaky with Still a nice cooked Agave. Well done XA very cool bottle!!
