“What an offering from Felipe and his amazing crew! Extremely lucky to have a bottle for my personal collection. Thanks to his use of nearly-retired barrels and minimal intervention, this extra añejo is really subtle but extremely refined. The nose bombards you with cooked agave and slight hints of vanilla and honey. The palate is soft and elegant. Agave forward with notes of vanilla, subtle cinnamon and the most delicate barrel spice. A must try and a truly legitimate expression of barreled agave....no BS with zero additives/artificial flavoring/colorings/etc. El Pandillo at its finest.”

“Strong vegetal aromas along with cooked agave. Nice oily mouthfeel, full of agave and strong minerality, some licorice and anise in the mid palate and hints of white pepper on the finish. Great tequila from the valley, certainly many interesting layers if you wish to seek them out.”
