Cava de Oro Extra Añejo
“The nose is nicely balance with vanilla and cane sugar... almost too light. The palate is smooth and slightly musty, and has a bit of oil, but not much. The finish is much like the palate, but more must and a weakening and barky type of vanilla. The sweetness is overwhelming at every stage, to the extent that you lose much of the traditional tequila profile. Overall, a nice change to sip, but only once in a while.”

Ocho Tequila Añejo
“The nose is clean, with hints of olive and oak and a bit of ocean. The palate is rich, slight drying and a small bit of light vanilla (very light). The finish is smooth, balanced and a slight mustiness... again, light alcohol, olive and light salt and virgin oak.”

Arrecife Añejo
“A nice sipping tequila with vanilla nose and palate. There is slight banana appeal on the palate and a long finish along with a mild cooked agave note. There is also a slight musty cardboard nose and finish that detracts from a better rating and diminishes the quality.”
