“High rating due to value. Probably the best value in the tequila world today, but only available in Guadalajara. It’s now being bottled under the El Tecolote name. Easy drinking, yet nice complex repo. If you go to El Buho it’s obligatory that you leave with one of these. ”

“Tremendous bottle. Drinks very light, but has a big flavor profile. Fruit, doughy nose gives way to a very wonderful biscuity flavor with a nice spicy hit. Nicely balanced as the agave still comes through. Quickly becoming a favorite as I keep returning to it each session. Worth the $ and additive free. ”

“Available at El Buho in Guadalajara, but have not seen it since. Nose (and somehow the flavor) is exactly a cigar humidor up front, nice vanilla, hints of dark chocolate. To be clear, this does not have mezcal smoke, but got a lot of tobacco from this particular bottle. Preferred others, but a great bottle. ”
