NOM 1107 | Not a lot of agave notes. Really alcohol forward & undesirable finish.

NOM 1535 | At the end of a tasting. But overall great good.

NOM 1143 | Oak barrel flavor, fruits, agave, spices, pepper, citrus, and hints of whiskey

NOM 1107 | It was a bit too sweet for me, but good middle-of-the-road tequila. Vegetal on the nose, cooked carrots and some smoke. Palate had alcohol, oak and wood with the agave peeking out at times. The finish was a bit “off” to me. Almost like artificial sweetener.

NOM 1107 | Aroma: Very light but I get notes of caramel and vanilla. There's also a slight bit of oak. I'm kind of surprised due to the fact that there's so much sweet aroma in a reposado that seems to not be aged super long. Flavor: A lot less sweet than I was expecting. There's a bit of vanilla but I almost get a rubber taste. The vanilla masks it on the finish but there is a definite bitterness on the front. Finish: Because it's slightly high proof I feel like it's a bit stronger on the finish which is nice.

NOM 1107 | NOM 1107, 42% ABV I strong aroma of agave and sharp citrus with an underlying note of baked bread or yeast. Only minimal flavors of oak if any at all. This is a very light repo (in color). Flavor is pretty one dimensional - cinnamon and maybe mint. A bit of a disappointment in flavor that really has not subtleties or complexities. Finish is short. 6/21/2017 (vertical tasting)

NOM 1107 | NOM 1107. Bold aroma and big flavors of sweet agave, vanilla, spice and oak. Nice long finish which includes black pepper and spice

NOM 1107 | NOM 1107. NOM 1107. Tasted in Riedel after aeration. Pale straw color. Coats the glass nicely, but the legs may be a little flatter than in the blanco. Still has the big agave nose from the blanco, but now adding just a bit of sweet barrel notes that mask some of the bright vegetal notes. There is still some alcohol in the nose from the slight overproof. The mouthfeel is thinner than the blanco and the big agave flavor from the blanco is muted here. The pepper kick is still big and lingers, but is a little drier from the time in the barrel. This isn't a barrel-flavored repo, like what you get with Casa Noble or Fortaleza. It's one where they use the barrel to mellow or round-out the blanco, taking off the edges. It's nice in its own right, but I think I prefer the bright bold blanco.

NOM 1107 | The aging mutes many of the spicy elements of the NOM 1107 blanco. Well a little. A logical extension of the blanco in this lot 1 reposado.

NOM 1107 | Feels like a blanco, but has amazing depth even on the first sip, surprisingly caught notes of almond and hazelnut.

Smooth peppery finish. Well balanced sipping tequila.

NOM 1107 | Nice agave, mint, citrus, alcohol heat . Another great tequila nicely packaged and realistically priced !

NOM 1535 40%ABV

aroma is ok. ethanol sting in the eyes. tastes hot with no real sweetness. not a fan

NOM 1107 | NOM 1107... Light straw color, this has a nice soft approach, not overwhelming with faint tones of Carmel and vanilla. The finish is a pleasant pepper that doesn’t last as long as I would like. All in all a wonderful tequila to have on hand. Price point at my local store is $34. This is a tequila to let your friends try!

Aroma was better than the taste for me. On the nose was not complex, simply, hints of oak aging. The palate was interesting. Off-balanced flavors, disproportionate alcohol burn, and nearly a faint hint of some sort of defect. Had this in a flight here in Arizona. I am very glad I did not commit to a bottle on this. I found it to be hot as well as the entire line especially the Añejo. I would not recommend and do not find this suitable for sitting and relaxing.

El Olor: Seriously... Is this even Tequila? It's almost briney. It has a mineral smell and something like paint thinner or acetone. El Sabor: Pepper! I like that. Nice change from the smell. But then there is a wet cardboard flavor. Definite defects or process flavors like alcohol are present. None of the good stuff one expects like agave, vanilla, leather, tobacco or oak. If any "wood flavors" are present, it's more like pine resin. El Final: I've barely sipped two ounces and I've got a raging headache from this stuff. The finish is the best part because it doesn't linger long.
