“Aroma: Yellow florals, fresh herbs, cut grass, mint, petrichor, and citrus rind. Palate: Orange zest leads with subtle earthy and mineral notes. Finish: Medium finish with lingering orange zest, savory minerality, and a touch of sweetness. Overall Notes: A noticeable improvement from what I remember, showing better balance and a cleaner profile.”

“Aroma: Initially fairly restrained. I find cooked agave, a touch of earthiness, minerality, and black pepper, with some alcohol on the nose that comes across slightly solvent-like. As it sits, more cooked agave begins to emerge along with subtle barrel influence. Palate: The profile is soft and understated. Cooked agave is present but muted, joined by light minerality and a touch of oak. I also pick up a slight rubbery, musty note. Finish: Short to medium in length with lingering pepper and minerality and a touch of sweetness. As the tequila opens in the glass, the finish gains a little more character, but it remains fairly restrained overall. Overall: This reposado has improved from previous releases I’ve tried since the move to its new distillery, but it still leaves me wanting more. The flavors gradually open up with time, revealing more cooked agave and subtle barrel notes, yet I never found the depth or complexity I look for in a standout reposado. That said, not every tequila needs to be bold. If you’re newer to sipping tequila or prefer a lighter, more approachable style, this could be an easy introduction to the category. For my palate, though, it feels a bit too subtle and doesn’t quite hold my attention. ”

“Aroma: Toffee leads the nose with subtle floral notes and a touch of honey. Flavor: The palate opens with light sweetness but ultimately falls flat for me. I was hoping for a little more depth. Finish: Short. A touch of pepper appears before fading into a lingering sweetness. Overall: The nose showed some promise with its toffee, honey, and floral aromas, but the palate lacked the complexity and character I look for in a reposado. The short finish and lingering sweetness left me wanting more. ”

“Aroma: I get some citrus with some fresh green notes and light eucalyptus. As it opens, I pick up some floral aromas a little jasmine, along with a clean, perfumed note that reminds me of fresh dryer sheets. Flavor: Cooked agave is present with light minerality. The profile is fairly straightforward, and a subtle sweetness begins to emerge Finish: Short-Medium. Pepper and anise appear first, followed by a lingering sweetness. I also found a medicinal, alcohol-forward, rubber-like note on the finish Overall: While this expression didn’t align with my palate, others who enjoy sweeter or more perfumed profiles may have a different experience. I’ve seen it at $35-$49 ”

“Onset of aromas was enough to intrigue me. It has a sweet note on the nose I can’t place, a lot of orange, fruity, and floral aromas. This is definitely a different profile than I’ve had in a while. The value of the bottle lowered the score, but I do think it has some different flavors worth exploring. I get some floral like jasmine on the palate with a blend of minerality and a little earth with savory green notes, mint, lemon grass, and a nice medium-long finish with floral and fruity notes lingering with a salty mouthfeel. ”

“I’ve seen the price from $110-$149 A bit pricey but it’s a well made blanco and a nice sipper. A blend of both valley and Los Altos agaves. Aromas: A punch of cooked agave up front, with herbal notes like lemongrass and soft floral aromas. Flavor: A strong punch of cooked agave leads, followed by citrus, subtle olive, wet earth, and bell pepper on the finish. As it sits in the glass, more tropical fruit notes emerge with lingering honeysuckle. Finish: Long, lingering finish that coats the palate nicely.”

“Big fan of the Cosecha releases. This release is so different. I feel like the flavors pop in the finish and linger in the palate vs. 2018 & 2013 where the flavors popped in the front. I’m not surprised that I don’t love it! It’s a bit pricey but for me I would rather spend a little more for an exceptional blanco. Aromas: lemongrass, rosemary, dill, brine, green olives, black pepper Flavor: savory notes, tobacco, black pepper undertones, (not as much brine as I picked up in the aromas) More saline and savory on the palate, with a lot of cooked agave that lingers into the finish. It also coats the mouth with a viscous oiliness. Finish: long finish with black pepper, tobacco, savory notes, lingering green olive, cooked agave, and creamy tropical fruit notes. ”

“This reposado has a light, barrel-like flavor with some fruit and cinnamon notes. It has a bit of an alcohol presence in the finish that lingers. Overall, for the price, I think it’s a great starter tequila or for cocktails. ”

“It’s not exactly an aficionados’ sipper, but it’s not the worst-tasting blanco either. It meets all the criteria of a solid blanco. For a clean, budget-friendly option for mixing cocktails, I think it works. ”
