Don’t call me crazy but the nose is Dr Pepper. Cherries? The palate and finish are subtle. I don’t love it.

I tasted a newly opened bottle, however, I noticed the tequila was not totally transparent, it was a tad cloudy, tasted on 7-25-24. Color: dark yellow to light brown & a tad cloudy. Aromas: quite woody, hint of cinnamon, hint of anise, hint of acidity, although the wood aromas are pronounced and the tequila is cloudy, but it is fresh & not cloying so I estimate it has not gone bad or stale. After 20 minutes in the glass light cooked agave, eucalyptus freshness and piloncillo aromas emerge. Spicy. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, alcohol sensation is quite low on the palate, wood note slightly dominates. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of cooked agave, wood note, cinnamon, piloncillo with a hint of eucalyptus freshness persists.
