Color, very light straw Nose, agave, oak, sweetness, something in there I can’t pinpoint, like grapefruit/rubbing alcohol? But not bad, interesting. Flavor, agave, oak, citrus rind Finish has a citrus rind note Not a complex tequila at all, it’s right on the fence if I like it or not….
Aroma Artificial caramel followed by alcohol and cooked agave. Taste Caramel followed by cooked agave and baking spices.
Not a bad tequila. Very woodsy, yet doesn't match the aroma. Smooth, yet missing complexity in flavors. I'm trying the anejo next in hopes aging brings out more flavor from the barrel.
