Oh my Goodness. So good. Agave , caramel, pitted fruit, pepper and 45% alcohol. This is so good and so much better than the already food 6 year. That French oak barrel really shines through with a nice enjoyable and complex XA. 20th anniversary 10 years aged

The nose is a wow! You get layers of complexity. Citrus, vanilla, white chocolate, ripe fruit and a floral essence. It is rich and vibrant. Flavor: Another wow! An initial alcohol punch, but not a knockout. Spices, ripe fruit and hints of barrel oak. Very creamy and viscous with a nice pepper kick. This may set a new standard of excellence for me - or close. An extremely long and rewarding finish. The price may knock off a few points, but overall it is worth it.

This smells so great that I just want to keep my nose in the glass, almost forgetting to sip. There’s so much to explore here. Lots of complexity in the aroma. Yes, there's caramel and vanilla, but also citrus (grapefruit, orange peel), peach, tobacco and leather. Flavor measures up too, with caramel, vanilla and cinnamon playing nicely with each other. The finish is super long and pleasant. There is only one place you can get one of these bottles, La Cata, in downtown Tequila. Grab one while you can!

Aromas of leather, tobacco, caramel and chocolate, with lighter notes of citrus and mint. Silky mouthfeel and a looong finish, thanks to its high proof. Definitely one to savor- you wouldn't want to rush it.

Aroma is nuanced and complex with significant notes of fruit, spice and floral. Surprising that there is little caramel or chocolate in the aroma. The flavor complexity matches the aroma. While the higher proof is apparent it is definitely not a firebomb like some high-proof tequilas. Rich flavors of fruit and spice. The finish lingers for a good long time and certainly makes you want to come back for more.

My review comes in respects towards the 20 year anniversary, 10 years aged Rey Sol as it's near perfection. This special edition tequila is unbelievable. Nose, taste, finish, bottle design, and packaging are on levels that's unmatched. There's no doubt, Rey Sol 10yr is the best tequila I've ever had, bar-none. Rated from barrel #8

20th Anniversary Sip Tequila Single Barrel. Quite a deal for $400 when Volans & G4 6 year XAs are going for $600. More age and arguably more beautiful bottle.

Butterscotch, maple, white pepper, light alcohol, long delayed finish. Amazing!!!!!

for the price I expected more depth but found it lacking. Notes of molasses , vanilla and maybe caramel.

Wanted to try this one for awhile after all the hype. First impression is it’s very good, but not wow. Reminds me of Codigo EA which is one of my favorites but the price is much more. Very smooth with light heat, not too sweet and very much a real tequila without additives. It’s smells amazing and changes each time I sample it. Pretty complex but the oak aging really shines through. If you have money to burn, it’s worth it.

Selections from this NOM are excellent - this is no exception, an exquisite nose, taste, and finish.

This has been on my wishlist for awhile and it was worth the wait. I could smell it for an hour and take just as long sipping it if I tried to process all of the notes each time I picked up the glass. There are layers to it and I was able up pick up different things over time.

Very dry finish! High proof. French barrel is very distinct

A more complex version of El Tesoro 70th. Silky feel yet a little thick. Alcohol is prominent on the nose and taste. Hazelnut and chocolate is notable throughout. Big servings not necessary for this one, most likely an after meal tequila. First impression is wow that is different, and it doesnt change thereafter. Would definately recommend trying if you get a chance.
