Light cream soda/cola aroma. Light oak and caramel flavor, easy to sip. Mid length, viscus, bright, effervescent finish.

Leather, tobacco and pitted fruit on the nose. Flavor is consistent with the aroma. Strong bitterness on the finish. Is not bad, but overall, non-descrip and not memorable.

Oak, leather and alcohol on the nose. whiskey, raisin flavor. Strong bitter finish.

tasted blind with 9 other Extra Añejo of various ABV. Gold in color with an intensity approaching #4 for appearance (#4 was Chinaco Negra at $485). Nose is agave, barrel spice. In the mouth this has medium viscosity along with an overall balance as the aging has mellowed the base juice. Cinnamon, agave, some humidor notes, cedar, tobacco and a nice ethanol buzz on the finish.

Tasted blind with AMM: Light apple aroma. Flavors of apple and cinnamon. Thin mouthfeel with a short finish. Extra points for affordability.

Nose: Raisin, Berry, Molasses, Oak Palate: Carmel, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Astringent Finish: Carmel, Vanilla, Oak, Coffee

AMM Blind Tasting: Nose with hints of butterscotch candy, vanilla, toffee. Smells pretty sweet. Hint of black pepper. Thick, full bodied mouthfeel with more of the same notes as the nose. A decent finish, almost flat cola. Score: 85 Original Notes: A ton of barrel influence on this XA which makes sense given that it is just shy of 9 years. I got dark chocolate, black cherry, cinnamon and caramel. Great value for the length of aging. Score: 82

TMM/AMM XA Blinds Dec 2025 #5 one of the darkest in color nose: cinnamon, alcohol, citrus/orange peel, brine, dough/yeast and funk (malolactic) palate: more subtle than the nose with vanilla and carmel, mildly sweet. Not complex; an easy sipper. finish: dry on the tongue, short

A nice sipper, manageable heat, good barrel notes, and mouth feel. Good value for being just shy of 9yr xa. This is definitely a bourbon drinkers xa. The finish was a little short but pleasing.

Nice nose of red fruits, milk chocolate, and brown sugar. A little thin for a XA in terms of viscosity. Oak is balanced pretty well on the palette with cinnamon, berries, dark chocolate, and peaches. Finishes noticeably hot. A nice, if not spectacular, XA. Price is a bit high for this level of execution, and knocked off a couple points correspondingly.

Tasted the 9 years XA, was expecting more complexity, but was a mellow and bland profile. Not bad just flat

Great comparable to Tears of Lorin’s at half the price

Tried TC Craft XA recently, and it wasn’t quite for me. The oak influence on the palate is heavy—almost overwhelming—with a slightly bitter edge that lingers more than I’d like. While it has a rich color and viscous mouthfeel, the balance just isn’t there for my taste.
