I liked this a lot more than I thought I would….I’m not an Añejo guy but this has a nice balance and appropriate finish. Fucking great packaging.

Of all the product Casa Dragones produces, this is by far the most reasonable. Still pricey. Column & Diffuser with some nice barrel notes.

Aroma is strongly anise, taste is smooth, little bit of heat at the tail-end. Still overpriced.

Got this as a gift. Wanted to like it but it’s over priced diffuser tequila.

Would have expected a bit more color from the barrels, however the oak is found quickly on the nose. Agave, grass and vanilla are also easily detected once poured into my glass. Flavor is good with agave upfront, sweet notes and a nice pepper clean finish. This is a nice sipper for sure.

This CD Anejo has some agave with some oak and caramel, chocolate notes Just like the rest of the lineup i believe the palate is artificial. This could be for some but not a fan.

Nose by is soft. Caramel and agave notes. Pale straw color in the glass. Creamy mouthfeel. Artificial flavor palate. Finish it chemical / medicinal. Not a fan.

Light, sweet aroma. First taste, a little black licorice a little of the barrel wood. Not a lot of other flavors. Extremely smooth, not enough heat. Pleasant finish.

A floral and perfume nose with a touch of oak at the end. Slight roasted agave and caramel with bittered oranges for taste. Finish is long and lingering of previously mentioned flavors with toasted sugar. In the end you still get flavors that point to diffuser made tequila which makes it less palatable.

Overall, it’s not a bad anejo. Definitely oak-bourbon-spice flavor and finish. I’m more of a barrel aged fan with my tequilas so I don’t mind this one. It’s a pretty decent chunk of change price wise and I agree with some of the other reviews. There’s a bunch of other good barrel aged tequilas out there that don’t cost as much. HOWEVER, if you find yourself with an opportunity to try this, don’t pass it up.

I loved this when I first had it. I still enjoy it actually (but view it from a tasting perspective as more of a whiskey) I thought it was totally delicious and nuanced. It’s gone really nice barrel notes, and is super smooth as well as looking awesome. The dark bottle is gorgeous! I remember recommending this to people and giving it as a gift (that’s how much I liked it!) and they liked it too! Now I’ve had to redefine it in a way. Now that my understanding of tequila has changed. This is still a nice alcohol to drink, but wouldn’t be what I recommend or gift to anyone.
