Bottle: TPA-202-LA Appearance: Dilute lemon juice Initial thoughts… Nose: Oak, vanilla, coffee Palate: Whiskey, barrel spice, cooked agave Finish: Alcohol, smoke, cinnamon Full review pending…

Initial aromas of muted cinnamon, oak, light caramel sweetness, some baking spice, as well as a bit of agave in the back with some light vegetal and green pepper notes. Agave forward on the palate, with some touches of oak sweetness, cinnamon, allspice, and a stevia-like sweetness. Has the characteristics of what can be described as a smoothed out blanco. The finish leaves behind some black pepper mixed with sweet agave and alcohol heat that dissipates quickly.

Fair to medium Cristalino. Points for being Additive free

Lacking. Just about everything. The aroma barely has anything for me. As in little to smell. Taste is borderline vodka— no tequila flavor. Not for me.

Smooth, slightly sweet with just a hint of smoke.

Smoother than blanco. Solid

Use for cocktails. Don’t understand any Cristalino like Partida or Komos. Like filtering a great wine and obscuring the flavors. You can taste the barrel remnants without much flavor from underlying tequila.

solid, not really complex

Clean agave, light pepper spice. Nice on the palate.
