Nose: Honey, Carmel, Butterscotch, Oak, Vanilla, Butter Palate: Pepper, Honey, Herbal, Minerality, Melon Finish: Honey, Floral, Honeysuckle, Grass, Hay
A nice repo that leans into the spices. I picked up a hearty amount of baking spice, cinnamon, caramel, floral components, pepper, cooked agave, light minerality, vanilla, and a touch of honey.
NOM 1499 | Price: $57.99 Appearance: Comes in a very classy box featuring hills behind a field of agave. Bottle is a funky squatted shape and the glass top is a nice touch. Color: Rich, dark caramel color Aroma: Deep aroma featuring oak, caramel, floral notes with a touch of lavender Taste: Oak is the sole dominant flavor that comes through, but I am not mad at it. Tastes great Finish: Good finish that lingers plenty Solid tequila offering at this price point! It feels like a gift and drinks like one! 8.3/10
Nose is cooked agave, oak and vanilla. Taste is cooked agave, pepper, oak and vanilla. Glass was a Glencairn.
NOM 1499 | This one is good and very easy to drink. Nice Cooke agave it is clean and soft on the mouth feel. Cinnamon and some barrel nots in the finish.
NOM 1412 | Nose 22 Palate 26 Low to medium mouth feel. Sweet, lots of pepper, some spicy kick. Lemon on the back, mild vanilla, Finish 21 Medium length, sweet lemon
NOM 1412 | Very nice sipping reposado. There is a great agave presence with great barrel notes. Nose: cooked agave, oak, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, black pepper, and citrus. Palate: the nose really carries over to the palate. Cooked agave, oak, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, black pepper, and citrus. This is a really nice sipping reposado. Not very complex but still very enjoyable.
NOM 1412 | Bottle: Bottle Number 02-0034801, MJ/REP/HV/003/22 Appearance: Golden hay Nose: Cooked agave, minerality, wet cement, butter, flowers, orange blossom, rose petals, gardenia, vanilla, molasses, lemongrass, herbal, mint, citrus, lemon, alcohol, white pepper, pine tree, oak, and honey…super floral and mineral-forward Palate: Cooked agave, butter, flowers, rose petals, gardenia, jasmine, allspice, baking spice, clove, damiana, oak, vanilla, peach, molasses, brine/salinity, minerality, limestone, wet cement, white pepper, and honey…even more floral than the nose Finish: Flowers, gardenia, pine tree, and vanilla…short, light, and floral Overall: Somehow, the barrel managed to take the bouquet from the blanco and squeeze even more flowers out. Bar none, this is the most floral tequila I’ve ever had. To top it off, it’s light, fresh, and balanced. Really outstanding.
Blind rating 2/6/2024 NOM 1499 Aroma: an initial butter/cream aroma as soon as my nose got near the glass followed by a bright floral aroma. There’s a powerful orange aroma with an undertone of cooked agave and honey. There’s also a subtle herbal aroma with a hint of clove. Flavor: a buttery citrus flavor at first followed by some cardamom. There’s a slight cooked agave sweetness on the mid palate which is rounded out with almost like a lavender flavor. Finish: very short with no burn or warming sensation. Texture is medium to thin. It’s very silky and soft.
NOM 1412 | Tasted at a restaurant… It was bitter, astringent and metallic Will need to revisit later
At the bar: The aroma was so soft I couldn’t pick up many aromatic notes besides the lovely smell of indefinite agave, herbaceous and mineral freshness. The taste was, oak sweetness, cherry, and fresh water. The finish left with traces of floral and minerality. This Reposado is remarkable indeed and I look forward to having my personal bottle and marinating at home with it to explore its totality.

9/28/22 NOM 1499 bottle 02-0003939 NOSE Caramel vanilla banana fruit oak agave PALATE oak agave vanilla a little banana and pepper FINISH medium oak agave a little heat
Nom 1499. Aroma, agave and burnt sugar forward with light wood and spice tones. Flavor, agave, wood sugars, light caramel, marshmallow. Tingly finish with more burnt sugar at the end. Not trying to be insulting but is a bit reminiscent of a Don Julio profile toward the end with the burnt sugary finish.

NOM 1499. This one's not bad. Definitely tasting Bannana. It's pretty easy to drink
NOM 1499 | Not as much bang as the Blanco but still good and smoother.
NOM 1499 | 1st Review Not properly filtered and tequila was extremely muted. Will have to revisit again, tried at a bar so somewhat skeptical - Score 79/100 2nd Review - Score 84/100 I’m glad I revisited, profile has changed and I really enjoyed it. Banana/tropical fruits is a key factor in this tequila. It can be sipped, but I think it can greatly be used in mixology. Deducted points since it’s $70 where I’m located, overpriced for the overall experience (bottle, packaging, tequila profile)
NOM 1499 | This has a pleasant oily mouth feel with notes of light oak and pepper. What's interesting about this is that if you let this sit out for a little bit you'll start to pick up light hints of other flavors as well. Really well made.
NOM 1499 | Outstanding sipping Repo. Light oak, pepper and agave flavors. Finish and smooth with light pepper on the palette.
NOM 1499 | Very nicely made Reposado, light wood notes, sweet agave, slight spice ....
NOM 1499 | Great aroma nice floral smell taste is nice and light, not overly oaky. A lot of good fruit notes. Great sipper. Really nice
NOM 1499 | Aroma : Watermelon and bananas with cinnamon, oak, cloves and vanilla. Taste : Peppery heat with cloves and cinnamon accompany the same fruity notes you get on the nose alongside creamy, sweet cooked agave. The texture is full and oily just like the Blanco. Finish : Long and crisp with good balance between sweet and spicy flavors.
NOM 1499 | Flowers, melon, vanilla, agave, sweet banana dominate the aroma. Melon, banana, flowers are at the front on flavor as well. Some oak and cooked agave follow. Citrus is present in the background. Creme brulee noticably coats the sides of the tongue during the finish and retrohale. Medium finish.

NOM 1499 | For me, when smelling around the glass, the top had a sweet smell with the bottom having an alcohol smell. Flavor wise, I’m having a tough time picking up anything recognizable to my taste profile. Finish wise I get some pepper flavor and a warm sensation on my cheeks.
