Nose: lactic/ musty/ vegetal / melon / lime / bell pepper/ hay / tea / sage / hint of smoke Taste: agave raw / vanilla/ cinnamon / pepper/ pineapple/ apple / melon / citrus / lemon grass / hay / mint / sage / earth Finish: watery wet mouthfeel/ cool water effect / lingering agave, pepper, and cinnamon. Has a bittersweet flavor on final swallow This blanco high proof just has a rough nose…nothing there to love or hate., just too much lactic for me. The taste has some really bold flavors, but the earthy and sage type notes just made this a tough pour to love.

Wow it is like I am in an orchard. The fruits are everywhere apples and pears and even peaches. There is also agave and peppers, maybe red bell peppers The palate is just as tasty. A delicious sweetness of honey and fruits. The high ABV works beautifully with this one. I highly recommend this and can’t wait until my next pour The mouthfeel is good. I’d like it to be a little more viscous but it is only a minor ding.

Nose: vegetal, mineral, salinity & muted cooked agave. Wet cement & cream corn. Taste: Black and White Pepper. Bell Pepper and some Jalapeño. Cooked agave and alcohol. Finish: It’s viscous and peppery. There’s a nice alcohol tingle. It’s a flavor bomb.

Mineral in the mouth with roast agave and a root vegetable pepperiness like a parsnip. Peniel thought radish but I think after talking with her about this for a few minutes she was agreeing with me.

This is a really good still strength blanco at 50% abv. The nose has a strong cooked agave with some a bit of vegetal. The taste is a cooked agave bomb with some pepper and fruit. This doesn't drink like a high proof. This reminds me a bit of Calle 23 Criollo.
