For a cristalino it’s not bad. Initially it’s pretty sweet and then a tad bitter on the finish. Plenty of pepper from the añejo.

Tasted clean, lol. Interesting conversation with the brand rep about barrels and barrel staves but I think the whole thing was pointless as most of that is filtered out. I will say that this and the Volcan de Mi Tierra are the only cristalino I would consider. Tasted at 2024 MBTC

Mijenta Cristalino presents a subtle profile with light notes of vanilla and cherry, while the agave takes a backseat, barely making an appearance. The finish is short, with a noticeable medicinal aftertaste that lingers. Given its profile, the price feels steep for the experience, lacking the depth and complexity expected at this level.

Not much on the nose. Flavor is sweet, no agave, and the finish is very short

Unfortunately this was not created for the American aficionado it is for the young antro crowds in Mexico.

I need to taste it again soon, for understanding the product more. I wouldn’t buy a bottle to my self at this point because it didn’t matched my taste profile quite, and again, maybe because I didn’t understand the product and the thing with filter out some of the good bits of the aging process. It felt a bit thin to be honest and without character really.

Tasty tequila, coconut notes, unsweetened vanilla, silky mouthfeel. Long finish.

I'm a big fan of Mijenta & its mission, & the cristalino has a good flavor profile. It has many of the same flavors as the regular reposado - cooked agave (though this isn't prominent) & some sweet baking spices, caramel, vanilla, honey, chocolate with a decent mouthfeel, less creamy/oily than the regular reposado due to the coconut husk charcoal filtering. It does have a fuller flavor profile than most other cristalinos. But unfortunately the flavor profile, though pleasant enough, doesn't stand out like that of the regular reposado. I wouldn't recommend this over the regular reposado, which has a fuller, nice spice bouquet & a better, more harmonious melding of flavors that is missing here. Only if someone preferred cristalinos, would I think to recommend this to them. The price point also brings down the value, unfortunately. I recommend picking up the regular reposado instead for a fuller flavor experience that showcases Mijenta as a brand at its best.

Good for a cristalino, but with that said I am no cristalino fan. Atleast this one has traces of natural agave flavors and not an additive bomb like other cristalinos on the market. The entire Cristalino category is still a money ploy and gimmick to get a 4th product on the shelf imo

Yay another Cristalino. At least it’s additive free. I do get this nose of metallic/medicinal, vanilla, some agave, and caramel without the oak. Palate is better than the nose, it’s a little hot but I don’t get those metallic/medicinal notes. I’ve never been a Cristalino fan as I seem them as absolute gimmicks but if someone asks for a Cristalino, this would be one I recommend… IF it’s in their budget. This tequila loses a lot of points on value, it drinks more like a $50-65 tequila, not a $75+ tequila.
