On the nose this rested blanco smells of sweet fruits, grapes, peaches, honeysuckle, and of course sweet agave. This high Brix tequila was made sweet and smells sweet. This tequila is all hearts. On the palate, it has some variance but I still get the fruity notes but I also get some spice. jalapeños! It is buttery and peachy.

Sample from Seattle Juan. Thanks John! I'm liking this more as i sip it. Wine presence is subtle, but it's definitely there. I like what Cambio is doing. Really good new brand!

Yummy stuff. Wine influence is muted but present behind the agave upfront. 50% ABV carries a ton of sweetness and surprisingly leads to a very nice finish.

Cambio’s El Corazon high proof is an experimental release where the tails & heads are discarded in favor of only the hearts off the still. Additionally, El Corazon’s mash is fermented to a higher Brix level than any previous release. I was told it’s fermented to a staggering 19 brix. The result is a far more fruity profile than the base blanco. The aromatics from this high proof blanco reminded me of a Tobala mezcal. As mentioned there is a significant amount of fruit here with crisp Fiji apple, cherry, banana, light citrus, peach and lime. Like the base blanco, there is a significant minerality to this high proof with a saline “ocean breeze” component. Long finish

On the nose: White peach, ripe pear, orange blossom and cooked agave. On the pallet: Creamy vanilla, toasted spice, honey, stewed apple and cooked agave. It’s creamy, it’s flavor packed, it’s hot, it’s everything a blanco could be. I’m obsessed with this expression. The way the flavors blend and dance with eachother. The fruit forward notes really make it unique. I’m very excited to see what Cambio comes out with next

Creamy and smooth. Full of flavor. Working my way thru the whole lineup and so far all have been amazing. None have the throat burn. Smooth and rich in flavor. I have lost interest in searching for any more premium bottles like Lost Lore, G4 and Fortaleza, which I do have. This stuff is now my go to brand

Appearance: light yellow tint. Riedel Tequila glass. Aroma:(22) Sweet Agave, peach, orange citrus, pear, white pepper Taste: (28) The Sweetest agave, fruit up front, peach, pear, mango, apple, honey, baking spices, nice viscosity feel. Finish: (23) Great lingering finish, with fruit, honey, vanilla, black pepper Overall: (89) probably the sweetest agave I’ve tasted in a blanco. Differently tastes the wine influence. A very unique blanco, not something I would normally gravitate to but it exceeded my expectation. Doesn’t drink like a 100 proof. $89 value (6)

For my 101st review, another fantastic offering. This one is super fruity, which I think comes from the increased sugar content and light aging. It’s so good. Also, I really appreciate Cambio’s customer service. My bottle leaked a bit in transit. After I let them know, they responded promptly and offered a replacement.

Subtle nose, lots of spice in the flavor. Hints of agave and sweet notes with a nice smooth finish.
