I've really been digging high proof blancos lately and this is another good one. N- agave up front, mango, herbs, anise, citrus fruit T- Cooked agave, anise, lemon, a little ethanol but expected, and some nice minerality that I missed on the nose. MF- thin F- long spicy agave finish V- $70 in Michigan so a decent value for a quality high proof blanco

This brand continues to give great offerings. This la Sabina is a hit.

While the Loma has some minty sweetness the Sabina is more earthy with lots of smooth minerals (is that a Michael Jackson song) and an easy finish. Great!

Vessel: CT Jarrito Nose: Agave, Minerality, Petrichor, Mint, Apple, Faint Anise Palate: Mint, Citrus Anise, Jalapeño  Finish: Mint, Citrus, Pepper, Minerality, Grass This a nice balance! The theme for me was a blend of herbal, citrus and minerality. Dangerously easy to sip on!

Aroma opens with clean petrichor, sweet agave tinged with raisin and sweet potato, lemon citrus, buttery softness, bread, and a gentle vegetal undertone. The palate layers lime citrus with mint, soft anise, petrichor, complementing ethyl, sharp stone fruit, and sweet cooked agave. The finish holds a clinging pepperiness, bright mint, and lime citrus, tapering into a faint grassy fade.

Terrific tequila. Excellent balance of citrus and pepper.

Agave upfront, both raw and cooked. A green vegetal note, some zesty citrus and guava, and an anise finish. The El Sabino (2 batches ago) was a slightly sweeter and fruitier note to start, and a little more herbs and buttery mid palate, I would say is the main difference. But both similar finishes.

Delicious. Very mineral based flavor but don’t let that scare you away. Very different from La Loma but as good
