Tasted at Mexico in a Bottle: 2025 I enjoy the Blanco very much, and this Repo exceeds it in presentation imo. I distinctly recall Caramel and Wintergreen notes with baking spices. I had a few pours and noticed that the ethyl sting, sometimes found in higher proofs, was subdued, allowing the flavors to dominate just like the Blanco. I’m on a mission for two full bottles. 1 to savor and 1 to murder. How do I remember tasting notes from two months ago? Because it’s that delicious.

Nice agave forward repo. Nose is agave with a slight barrel note. The VSB 001 is very light in color. The barrel age is 127 days. The palate is very well balanced with agave and a slight caramel kiss. Finish is long and sweet. I also have a SiB Repo that I found that is incredible! The barrel is RSB7-1 and is a higher proof at 102.8. The age is stated at 252 days. The nose is intense agave and slightly floral. The palate is agave, slight citrus and caramel. Amazing long sweet finish. I rate the VSB 001 at 90 and the SiB at 95.
