Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Cinnamon, leather, butter, earthy notes, nuttiness, floral, and vibrant cooked agave. Palate: Honey, cinnamon butter, herbal notes, coriander, and white pepper. Finish: Medium finish with lingering cinnamon, dried fruit, and coriander. Overall Impression: A balanced reposado with a nice harmony between sweetness and spice. The honey and cinnamon butter give it warmth while the coriander and white pepper bring a pleasant herbal spice that carries. I really enjoyed the lack of oak in this; it felt like that allowed other characteristics to really have their moment

Nose: Cooked agave, slight funk, cinnamon, pepper, butterscotch, grape, minerality, honey Pallet: Cooked agave, white sugar, cinnamon, pepper, honey, cantaloupe, Another knockout from Manuscrito! Distinct flavors of sweet roasted agave, cinnamon, pepper, honey, and minerality flood the nose and pallet of this repo. The barrel influence is light which I love. It’s distinctly a repo but all the great notes of chapter 1 exist in here as well! Delicious! And priced even more deliciously!

The nose is amazing. The first tequila I have ever picked up a peanut butter note in the nose. The flavor is very complex and the finish is long and full of agave, citrus and heat.

The Chardonnay barrel delivers a much better experience than I was expecting, as I’m not always a fan of wine casks. Only aged 3.5 months the agave shines. Aromas of agave, floral, and cinnamon. Flavors pop with agave, followed by cinnamon, honey, light herbal, and citrus. The slight overproof helps with a creamy tingly finish that ends slight dry. I could drink this all day.

This Reposado is a certified crowd pleaser. On the nose, you get a beautiful hit of strong agave backed by minerals, bright florals, cinnamon, and a touch of funk. The palate delivers exactly what the nose promises rich agave right out of the gate, wrapped in warm cinnamon, a light pepper and a nice dried fruit sweetness. Easily one of the most enjoyable Reposados I’ve had lately. Big thanks to the Agave Swappers for this sample.

Page No. 001, L750MRN0001, tasted on 5-12-26. Color: light yellow to yellow. Aroma: raw agave, light vanilla, light acidity, hint of citrus, wood note that gets more intense as time goes by, herbaceous. Pepper spiciness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, wood note is quite dominating, spicy. Finish is medium to long, light raw agave with a hint of vanilla and intense wood note persists, ends slightly dry.

No #3 Is a another home run. Read Matt Cavaugh's review...spot on. I love the straw-hay notes that hit me in the inital aromas. The mouthfeel has everything you want; layered and light oak with coriander, pepper. A significant amount of heat. One of favorite repos. Wow.

Did a side by side with Chapter IV and preferred that one ever so slightly more. My newer to tequila friend was the opposite.

A very good reposado from Manuscrito, you get a great aroma punch of sweet cooked agave, but the chardonnay barrel amplifys the aroma and taste with some cinnamon, honey and sweet cooked agave. 42.5 abv and under $50 price point is a great buy.

Creamy and buttery, as it opens more flavors come out the Chardonnay barrel is def there. Sweet cooked agave, cinnamon, flan like, tropical with some hints of pineapple as well. Very easy to drink with minimal heat. The price is excellent as well I paid 47.99. For me I think the sweet spot is at 42.5% the blanco and this one are really good!
