Nose is barrel forward with oak and baking spices followed by subtle notes of honey, caramel vanilla, flowers and agave Taste leads with an equal balance of oak, agave and baking spices. Followed by pepper, minerals, vanilla, honey and a very subtle herbalness. I have revisited this bottle multiple times and it has gotten better as it has had time to open up but the balance seems to be a little off. The pepper, alcohol and agave just don't mesh as well as I had hoped. This is still a good high proof Reposado but balance is off for me.
