Aromas of black cherry, cocoa, banana, definitely pick up the sherry, oak, agave, leather, flat dr.pepper, wet cardboard, dark dried fruits and white pepper. The nose reminds me of an anejo and is pleasant. I will say you will need to let this breathe/open up. Taste profile is not as complex as the nose but it is rich. Notes of oak, dark chocolate cordial cherry, pepper, bananas foster, vanilla, honey and cinnamon sugar. Mouthfeel is nice but not oily. Medium length finish. it did lose a few points for price.
