Rated blind during 2026 Agavos Awards: "Intense black pepper aroma, along with some wet earth. Pretty cool, actually. Flavor is agave, pepper, and mint. Thick and oily mouthfeel, feels elegant. Easy to drink, slightly dangerous."

Thought from the nose we were heading down the Zumbador, Manuscrito, Ensueno cinnamon and basking spice rabbit hole. Will update my notes but there is a mineral/cement note that I wasn’t expecting with the aroma. I do enjoy it. Not sure about the packaging but at $55 it’s way more in line than what is listed as a $150 repo. Interesting bottle that I would like to revisit. Is it possible that this is the Tahona blanco? Got it in a swap and only says Exquisito.

Like the thick body and smooth finish to this, a small zest of pepper and lemon as an easy sipper
