Nose: Cooked agave leads, layered with dusty earth and a mineral edge. Flowers and hay add subtle brightness, while citrus lifts the profile. Black pepper and a hint of strawberry licorice add character and depth. Palate & Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with a slick, energetic texture. Agave arrives first, followed by black and chili pepper, echoing the dusty earth from the nose. Bright citrus keeps it lively. The proof is noticeable, giving punch without overwhelming - the alcohol supports the flavor rather than masking it. Finish: Spicy, bright, and clean. It doesn’t linger unnecessarily - direct and uncompromising, making a statement as it fades. Final Thoughts: A shame this one is no longer in production. Most distillers would dial back the proof, but here it’s exactly what gives it punch and presence. Old school in style but bold in attitude, this is a tequila with personality. I love it.
