Nose: barrel spices, dried fruit, and floral and no agave Flavor: oak, dark chocolate, and some sweetness with little agave flavor Finish: nothing but black pepper
Nose: some agave, lots of alcohol, sweetness, and light citrus Flavor: oily mouth feel, earthy, sweetness that is not natural, and the bitterness of white pepper Finish: medium with some black pepper
The resting mutes some of the bright elements of the Blanco.
As others have said, flavorful and nicely priced. Bottle is from 2011.
I have used this as a home aging base for many years and surprised to see I have never rated this. Bottles is stamped LT100901 dated 250910. Light citrus and some agave on the nose, a nice bit of agave and sweetness on the palate with some citrus rind bitterness, quite viscous on entry this fades on the finish to slight bitterness. It ages well too.
