Casa Mate tequila platinum 40% NOM 1577, acquired recently, tasted on 5-2-26. Aroma: cooked agave, hint of anise, hint of minerality, hint of pepper spiciness, cooked agave note becomes sweeter as time goes by. Light acidity. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, hint of raw agave, slightly spicy. Medium to full mouthfeel. Finish is medium to long, light sweet cooked agave, hint of anise with a hint of minerality persists.

This is an organic and kosher certified tequila. Very mineral forward with nice agave sweetness. I hate to use this word but I must say that this is exceptionally smooth and easy drinking. Can’t wait to try their other expressions

Smooth and clean. The smoothest tequila I've ever had! It does not burn and you can really taste the genuine flavors of the agave. I get a little pepper flavor that is much better than the sweet artificial flavors I get from many other brands. I love that it doesn't have any additives and is certified organic by the US and Europe! The bottle design is so unique and I love that it is sustainable.
