This is a quality blanco tequila made with a blend of 9 blancos. It’s very clean and polished. It’s very traditional. It’s earthy and mineral with some bright citrus notes along with the clean crisp agave. They use estate agaves and shave them tight. This is a polished blanco. The price is on the high side which unfortunately affects the score but if price doesn’t matter then you should definitely try this one.
Truly a great reposado from the Cascahuin distillery. The profile reminds me of the Tahona Reposados they released as an aniversario. The balance of cooked agave and oak is in harmony. However, I think it is overpriced.
