Always like seeing new brands that are legit and worth tasting. This entire line up is solid.
Blind tasting via AMM: Mint, grass, pepper, and agave carries through the aroma and flavors. Nice little tingle but an easy drinker. Extra points for value.
On first contact I’m not in love with this samples profile. On the nose is an acetone note, it’s bitter, astringent and takes away from the florals and cooked agave. On the palate is a spicy bomb, it’s allspice, black pepper, brine, herbaceous, vanilla cream, and slight acetone. Drying on the finish. Not my favorite.
AMM Blinds mar 2026 #6 nose -fruit chocolate alcohol palate - burnt creme brulée, mild agave finish - a little bitter
• Visual: Good viscosity. Clear with clear medium edge. • Initial Nasal Impact: Prickle. • Aroma: Citrus blast, lemon grass, herbal, cinnamon, floral. • Mouthfeel: Oily with sufficient alcohol. Very drying. • Flavor: Lemon grass, cinnamon, cocoa, candied lemon, red hots, sweet potato. • Finish:
I am getting a caramel/vanilla vibe going on in both the aroma and flavor, and although this is pleasant, I'm wishing that were more subtle so other elements could shine through. It has a thick and dry finish that brings out citrus on the palate at the end. I would pour this for someone just getting into tequila because I think it makes a great starting point.
Absolutely delicious, and you got to love that bottle
I’m really enjoying this Anejo. I’ve sipped it neat and used for a nice aged cocktail, it works great for both. Great job PB.
