On the nose, I’m getting a nice sweetness right away. It’s cooked agave up front, a little spice, some citrus, and just a touch of floral and little vegetal. On the palate, big cooked agave hits first, then those floral notes really open up more than the nose lets on. There’s a clean sweetness throughout. The finish brings a nice vegetal heat that builds as it sits. I’m also picking up some anise and a little lime zest on the back end
As good as it gets. This is truly an excellent bottle of tequila . Incredible taste profile. Great complexity and depth. Highly recommended!!
One of the best Anejo’s I’ve had in a long time. Clean and no additives. Incredible taste profile. Love this tequila.
On the nose, I immediately picked up plenty of cooked agave along with light peach and honey notes. There’s a pleasant barrel spice that reminds me of cinnamon, along with touches of oak, caramel, and even a little vanilla. As it opens up, a subtle herbal note starts to show itself, adding another layer of character. The palate follows through nicely from the aroma. Cooked agave remains the star of the show, supported by floral notes, light honey, soft peach, and that same herbal character I found on the nose. Nothing here feels overdone or out of balance. Is this the most complex reposado I’ve ever tasted? No. But that’s not really the point. What it delivers is a collection of well-integrated flavors that work together extremely well. The mouthfeel is smooth and satisfying, the finish is long, and the overall profile is balanced from start to finish.
