Some hints of agave on the nose but really not a lot going on there. Peaks really fast on mid palette, boozy hit with bitter ending, I actually recommend shooting this if encountered.

Sugar aroma, acetone front, harsh finish. Good for frat boys

The nose shares a nice vanilla and caramel along with a little cooked agave. The taste is pretty close to the scent. This one is slightly lighter than many of the other 1644 distillery offerings. The finish is also nice, but it doesn’t linger or stay with you very long. There is a hint of alcohol in the finish. All in all, I would recommend this as a nice novelty sipper to cap an evening. The presentation of this tequila is one of the nicest I have seen. The hand blown glass with the colored bird inside is very special. It’s a sort of awkward delicate bottle. The neck seems very fragile. This is one that would definitely look nice sitting on the bar on the merits of its presentation alone.

Nose is pretty hot, a touch of pepper with a little bit of cooked agave. Flavour is very thin, agave and heat. Finish is uneventful.
