NOTE: This is Organic Terroir #Batch Ceniza Bottle 459/1165 42.5% #1466 Tres Mujeres Nose: An initial hit of citrus oils and floral notes. Fruit and agave forward. Backed up with mineral aromas and zest of lime. Cleanly defined profile. Impressive so far… Flavor: An unexpected pop of heat: white pepper and cinnamon red hots. Viscous sweetness. Rich and Buttery on the palate - the heat elements weaving in and out, lingering. Loses points on value - especially the Mexican price point of $3980 pesos.

Complex aroma with agave, olive brine, minerals, and earth. On taste I’m getting more olive brine and earth. I can see where this would be great for people who love that olive flavor, but it’s not tops for me. Also very expensive.

NOM 1466 | Sweet and spearminty. Finish has an unpleasant after taste (fake sweetener?). The low score really is affected by the value- this blanco is $119! I would only pay amount this for a treasure bottle.

LOTE: TCB-Siembra, 42% abv., marbete is 2014 but couldn’t read QR. Aroma: light raw cooked agave, alcohol sensation is medium high and impregnating, light earthiness. Palate: citrus, raw agave, although balance is OK, but alcohol sensation is also medium high in the mouth. Finish is medium, light raw agave with light alcohol bitterness persists.

Tasted at a high end restaurant. Interesting. Not overwhelming. A bit sweet. The review from Scarlett is spot on. I'll try again to get a fuller picture.

NOM 1466 | I made the official tasting note of this tequila, you can find it at their website. In simple words, a different tequila with a botanic and mellow profile, similar to a Mezcal or Sotol. The bottle is real fancy.
