Lost lore repo Westbound and down Aged in barrels used to rest stout Honey brown sugar with a little bitterness from the stout and a spice, perhaps cardamom? I feel like I can actually taste the stout beer on the finish! I'm not a beer fan. But i do like this!

Much heavier than the other beer barrel expressions Lost Lore has put out. The stout influence is strong in the best possible way with a finish that lasts foreeeeever. Kudos for doing something very different.

On the glass which is typical of anything coming out of NOM 1414 LL it coats the glass very nice with extremely slow tears running down. On the Nose I get Vanilla, honey, and I'm guessing some notes from that stout including a little baking spice and a little cinnamon. on the palate I get Vanilla, Cinnamon, Honey and just a little bitterness but man does it coat the tongue. The cooked Agave is very little if any but that is not a downfall. I really enjoy this pour and I'm not a huge Stout fan.

So damn smooth. As a stout & tequila lover this is perfection.

I’m always intrigued by these LL RS bottles. This one is right up there, FOR ME, in terms of flavor and enjoyment, with the Vanilla Stout RS bottle. Maybe a bit more stout-y than the vanilla one, but full bodied and full of flavor. Does the beer barrel idea take away from some of the agaveness? Possibly, but I think the innovation of using said barrels adds way more to the juice then takes away. I will always love these runs.

Bottle 421 Unlike any tequila I've ever had. Those barrel notes are quite pronounced and I'm here for it. Smooth would be an understatement.
