Nose has aromas of agave, anise, spearmint, fresh cracked peppercorn, cinnamon, tamarind and flower stems Taste starts with cooked agave, pepper, guava, brine, spearmint, anise, thyme and a hint of floralness. Mouthfeel is decent a little thin. Finish is medium It drinks a bit hot. I opened it a week before sitting with it. I let it breathe in the glass for 15 minutes before tasting. Lost a few points for price.

Onset of aromas was enough to intrigue me. It has a sweet note on the nose I can’t place, a lot of orange, fruity, and floral aromas. This is definitely a different profile than I’ve had in a while. The value of the bottle lowered the score, but I do think it has some different flavors worth exploring. I get some floral like jasmine on the palate with a blend of minerality and a little earth with savory green notes, mint, lemon grass, and a nice medium-long finish with floral and fruity notes lingering with a salty mouthfeel.

This takes a beating over cost.

Aroma: anise, agave, pepper, mint, peppery herbal note. Taste: cooked agave, sharp cracked pepper, mint, minerality, slight olive brine Value is low. It’s a great tasting Tequila but it’s hard to justify an 80 proof blanco at this price.

Cooked agave, light citrus, pepper, and green vegetal herbal notes balanced by a smooth clean crisp finish. An approachable blanco with authentic character, unlike anything I’ve tasted before.
