Casamigos Tequila Reposado

“Mild sweet aroma of mainly vanilla with a hint of agave and caramel. But take a sip and you get a nice smooth and very pronounced vanilla taste with a bit of caramel to follow. The vanilla was definitely the strongest flavor for me. The good thing is that the flavor doesn't linger for too long, making for an enjoyable drink that you can sip for a few hours. I really like this tequila. I bought this bottle at a State store in central PA because we don't get much selection here and this one was new and I really like the minimalist design bottle. After I got it home and started drinking it, I read some of the reviews and then realized the label has the signature of the esteemed Mr. George Clooney. That will make for a cool conversation piece when I break this out at my Christmas party. Fun story: We used to visit Washington DC every summer and would take the metro to save time. When you get on the metro, there's an audio message that plays that says "doors closing" but because the audio quality is so poor, we always thought they were saying "George Clooney"! So whenever we would get on, we would all yell it out so that everyone else knew just how crazy we were. Ah, good memories. I'll definitely buy this tequila again. Good stuff. ”

“NOM 1513. Mild sweet aroma. Sweet fruity/tropical flavor. Noticeable burning sensation. Why is my tongue numb after two glasses? Leaves a chemical/bitter aftertaste about 15 mins after drinking. Nice flat black bottle with a scorpion on it. I think I would drink this again. Unseasonably mild Central PA fall day. Wife and daughter just got back from cheerleading practice. Now I'm watching The Simpsons with the family. My wife just came and sat on my lap so I will probably associate this with good memories. :) ”
