“Earthy nose, subtle but fully present oak, roast agave. Some vanilla coming through after sitting in the glass for 30min. Everything I enjoy about reposado and a great benchmark. Bottle a few years old with prior packaging. Looking forward to revisiting in a couple weeks.”

“Vanilla bomb. Reminded me of 1942 and how easy it is to simply add vanilla extract. Sadly, this was a huge let-down. Please try and convince me French oak played the only role here, because I'd be very surprised.”

“This did not taste like tequila. Drank more like a fruity liqueur, but not a good one. Maybe it had a vague agave presence. The drain had more of this than me. Wife could not identify this as tequila when handed a glass early in the evening. It's too bad expensive brands almost always fail to be stewards of the industry. ”
