“Where do you even start with this Blanco. So complex. The first think that hits for me is the earthy, minerality. Nothing is better to me than the Tahona crushed agaves. It’s brings out so much of the expression of the agave and the locality of it. The nose has nice citrus, Petrichor, a little herby oregano along with a wisp of smoke. There’s also some cinnamon stick and some black pepper. Nose is agave, a little smoke, citrus, some sweetness. This lets you know it’s higher proof but in a subtle way. My favorite Cascahuin for now. Later this year I’ll crack the Cerro De Luz and see what all the noise is about. I loaded up on this one a while ago because it’s never gonna be cheaper. Cascahuin is worth every penny I drop On it! ”

“Where do I start? This is so complex. The nose starts out with citrus. Then comes the sweet agave earthiness. Sweet cinnamon, a little lemongrass, sweet potato, a little Yuzu, minerals, thyme, and some burnt sugar. The taste is just amazing. I’m getting a lot of citrus, earthy, agave, cinnamon, mint waves of agave and a warming aftertaste from the higher proof. This blows me away that it’s 106. What an amazing High Proof Blanco. Can it get any better? Only time and more tequila will tell. ”

“I’m a big Fortaleza advocate and this one blew me away. I’m not a Repo drinker until this came along. Huge vanilla, citrus and baking spices aroma. The nose is big from it being over proof. It’s big taste of agave and some bourbon like vanilla. I can’t say enough how big of a tequila this is from being taken straight from the still and put in barrels. So happy to have a second bottle to sit on. Easily worth the price of admission. ”

“Big Vanilla and Citrus. A little black pepper on the back end. Is so easy to drink. Nice slight herbal taste along with a little citrus fruit and again vanilla. Clean after Taste and I'm drinking this in a 111 degrees in the great AZ. I have this shipped to me from Cali. It's way cheaper with shipping and no taxes. I buy plenty of this blanco. ”
